Wildlife, birding and photography holidays in the Shetland Islands
Welcome to my otter watching blog
Brydon Thomason; Otter watching is undoubtedly one of my main passions in life, I hope that through this blog fellow otter lovers and naturalists can share my enthusiasm and enjoyment of the otters I study through out the year. You can read about these trips at http://www.shetlandnature.net/ or email me for more information on photographing/watching otters in Shetland info@shetlandnature.net
I have long believed that watching and studying otters is the pinnacle of all wildlife-watching experiences in Shetland, one that (for all the other wildlife spectaculars that the islands have to offer) I have yet to match. From an early age, these enigmatic creatures have fascinated me, and this has continued to inspire me for more than 20 years, gaining intimate knowledge of their movements, behaviour and habitats has brought me immeasurable pleasure.
