Welcome to my otter watching blog

Watching and photographing otters in Shetland is undoubtedly one of my main passions in life, second only to my family. Since my first real memories of encounters with otters at eight years old, I have been studying Shetlands otters for almost thirty years now. I have enjoyed featuring on several TV documentaries to share my passion and local knowledge of otters here in The Shetland Isles. I hope that through this blog fellow otter lovers and naturalists can share encounters and images from the otters I study through out the year.
